Rework: Learn to Alter Your Clothes & Thrift Finds
Coming soon to The Atelier Room. Reserve your spot with a $100 deposit.
Tentative start: the week of November 16.
Love shopping but tired of paying for alterations? Learn to tailor the clothes you own and the pieces you thrift so they fit and feel like yours.
Rework is an in-person evening sewing class with four options. Choose a standalone class if you already know how to use a sewing machine, or join a beginner-friendly cohort that starts with machine basics.
Choose your cohort
1 Week: Single Session ($195)

3 Weeks: Alter & Fit ($695)
Beginners welcome. Three classes over three consecutive weeks. Your first class focuses on learning how to use a sewing machine. The next two classes cover hemming and alterations to shirts and sweaters.
Balance after your $100 deposit: $595.
4 Weeks: The Full Rework ($895) — Most Popular
Beginners welcome. Four classes over four consecutive weeks. Your first class focuses on learning how to use a sewing machine. The remaining classes cover hemming, side seams, pants, tops and jackets.

Rework Atelier ($1,095)
The complete experience. Everything in The Full Rework, plus a Sewing Essentials Kit to keep, 6 hours of open studio time to practise between classes, and a private 30-minute fitting session with your instructor.
Balance after your $100 deposit: $995.
Add-on: Sewing Essentials Kit ($75)
Everything you need to keep sewing at home, including fabric scissors, a seam ripper, pins, a measuring tape and tailor's chalk. Yours to keep. Available with any cohort.
How the deposit works
Your $100 deposit holds your place in the first Rework groups, which are limited to 5 students each. Depositors get first choice of start dates before booking opens to the public, and the full $100 is credited toward the package you choose.
Once dates are announced, you'll have 7 days to confirm your package and pay the balance. Deposits are non-refundable. If your preferred evening doesn't run, your deposit can be transferred to another evening or cohort.
